Hello,

Do you by chance know how to decrease the height of a textarea field in backend?

Here it how it looks:

And here is how I'd like it to be (for this field will only contain one or two lines, always):

Several fields like this one make me scroll too much each time I'm editing an item, so you understand why I'd like to decrease the height.

Please don't tell me I can grip the bottom-right corner and drag it, because I know it, and I don't want to decrease it manually on the fly each time: I want it to appear a defined height automatically.

I already tried to modify the field properties: Edit field > Editing > Form field > Rows (or Editor height), but it doesn't help.

Any idea anyone?

Good night.

you have option on text area field or try to configure tiny plugin

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,

Thanks for your answer.

Like I said, I already tried to edit the textarea field, and modified some options, but didn't achieve the expected result:

Which option did you think of?

Good night.

Hello

This is a Joomla editor issue and not a FLEXIcontent bug,t
the width / height values are not respected by tinyMCE

This is fixed in Joomla 3.7.0

Hello,

Thanks to Java 3.7 I managed to modify Editor TinyMCE height:

But... it applies for all textarea fields.
And I'd like to set the height big for long text fields (like Description) and small for others.
My parameters in the individual field definition still don't seem to be taken into account.

Do you have a clue?

Good night.
