Flexicontent Subcategory issue

Good afternoon everybody, I recently installed flexicontent it is an excellent extension. However I have a problem, I am trying to select a subcategory in item edit layout, but the field doesn´t shows anything, the permissions are ok. I have created subcategories depending on parent categories and I thought everything was fine. Am I missing something or have I misunderstood the secondary category field?

Hello

besides ACL
- type configuration (you can select a category and only allow its subtree but this combines with ACL)
(and you can include / exclude subt-tree parent)
- submit menu item

may impose limitations on the category selector
