Table Lister

I'm quite new to Flexicontent but very impressed by the many possibilities it offers.
I ask your advice for a new project.
I need to implement something like you did on the Extensions Directory menu at your site.
I need to list a certain number of files with their relevant attributes in a table format. In particular, I need to list some fields I can retrieve from the flexicontent_file table (in mysql db), showing each field of interest in the relevant column of the table I'd like to show (i.e.: file title, file description, number of downloads, ....). The file title should allow the download of the file itself, while other field could offer a link to somewhere else or jsut show the information they represent (ie: creation date)
Are there any chances I can achive what I need using some of FC field/settings or using a specific template?
