ordering of the default article display

Hi there,

In the back end admin side, I would like to have the default article view be lisited by item id but be sorted by newest first, currently it defaults to oldest first.

I found a setting in the configuration tab that says "item list" but i dont think its correct as Im not seeing any change to the article listing criteria.

Is there a way to have the default article sort be by newest first?

ok i see your picture the configuration "item list" is for frontend item lists



-- the configuration FOR items manager is in a different place:

--> component parameters
--> inside the TAB: "Backend managers"
--> find the section for items manager, and you can set 1 ordering


About some question that you had in regards with caching
PS: v2.2.1 will only allow conservative caching (unlogged users) (caching disabled for logged users)


-- v2.2.2+ will allow progressive caching as well (caching per logged user (=same logged user revisits same page) )
