Limiting amount of Articles a user can create was created by Boatwright

I am trying to build a system where there will be 2 to 3 different type of users. Some users have minimal profile info and some have a detailed profile to fill in.

1 of these user types will need to create a profile so I am creating a new type. I want the users to be able to fill a form about him or herself. This will be displayed with many others in a list i.e. people will be able to search it. Think like linkedin.

So the most important is that the user can only create 1 of these i.e. his or her profile. How do I limit the number of items he or she can create.

Am I going about this wrong? I am a bit of a newbie.

Hello

you can limit per user the number of content that can be created,

goto our backend "Authors" TAB, and see what is available,

the same limitations, will be available per user-group, in v2.1.2 or immediately after
