Hi
I have a problem. I want to generate a category item list through a menu button, but when I select "Show category in list format" of joomla articles (in menu button) I have to select only a first level category and no subcategory. The subcategories item don't shows. The same problem is with Flexicontent menu item type, I can't select a subcategory item because this don't shows. With this problem I have to create a first level category for all items that I want a list, but this gives me a big mess in my items.
Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Please configure the appearance / behavior of a category by editing the category in FLEXIcontent category management TABs

- now the category settings (above) you can override via MENU parameters ONLY if you enable parameter
"Override Configuration"
which inside slider
Basic Parameters (enable override here)

Please, maybe I don't understand. I'm sending you a screenshot of categories configuration. I can't see an override configuration (although it is in Spanish). I have to create a new folder for tmpl? Thanks for your patience.

Hello
I meant in menu item and your picture shows the category and only if you want to override category configuration , then you need to enable parameter "override configuration

but i see now that your problem is different
you say that you have subcategories

but they do not appear in drop down category selection, e.g. they do not appear in item form or other places too?

are you logged as super admin ?

Hi
Yes I'm superadmin, and Yes, the subcategories are in categories list when I select from menu item. I send you some screenshots. I had to create a new categorie in first level for to do the list, but this is a problem because sometimes I will need to do a list with items that have some categories in second level...
