breadcrumbs: category missing

Hi forum!

Im wondering why the breadcrumbs are not showing the item category while i have a menu item linked to this category?

did i miss an option, or is it not provided?

Normally Joomla's pathway (displayed via Breadcrumbs modude) include the menu items along the path that lead to currently ACTIVE Joomla menu item,

I have the option "Create pathways automatically" enabled in Global Configuration but the parent category is still missing for some Items (not all)

I.e. this Item does not show the parent category:

Also I noticed that sometimes the menu item titles shown in the breadcrumbs and sometimes the titles of the pages. I would like to make them universal.

I checked and at the point that FLEXIcontent component code finishes the pathway is created according to parameters, some other code is manipulating the pathway after FLEXIcontent component code finishes, e.g. a system plugin

Turn-off your SEF component while developing your website.
This eliminates a lot of issues caused by SEF components,
and enables you to identify the actual source of the issues.

If it works properly with SEF Off, then the issue is most likely the SEF component and/or the FLEXIcontent plug-in for that SEF component.

I did but the problem is still there. I also turned off other possible system plugins. Is there a possibility to get to know which plugin's code changes the pathaway?
