Thanks, this is working perfectly now.

A little question by the way... does a plugin like this exists on a weblink extra field ? to pick an internal link, instead of copy pasting its url...?

I read somewhere we could suggest some ideas for features ? Could this one be a good one ? :D

Unless there are other solution i'm not aware of... Such as inserting the flexicontent item id in the weblink field... and it's building the url itself ?

You can use the related items field, for the purpose of linking to items.

Also this FAQ article maybe useful:

No, it does not match with what i am trying to do. The weblink is more close to it.
I created some short articles to display in some kind of news section. Each article would have an extra field to add a link toward one specific article in the flexicontent database.
Therefore, the related article solution is not the right one for me as I can't pick the specific article i'm looking for.
Copy/pasting the url and put it in a weblink field remains the better solution for me right now.

Our implementation for linking to items (with easy category browsing and title filter, and multiselection from different categories) is the related items field.

The extended weblink is meant for adding custom links, now we have don't have strong reasons to -try- to combine these fields, plus their purpose is different.

I can suggest this: add both fields to your item, and each time use whatever is more convenient.

Best Regards
