I started using K2 to create my web site but was hacking and creating too many work-arounds for my comfort. I decided to look around and discovered FLEXIContent. I am thrilled that I did! FC does everything that I wanted K2 to do, and more! Too bad I had to manually re-create all my K2 articles for FLEXIcontent!
FC documentation is a bit on light side, but I have found the forum helpful. To be honest, it is pretty intuitive, so I haven't relied too extensively on the forums but there are a few regular that offer good advice.
All in all, this is a great component and should be standard in Joomla!
