Small scriptproblem

I'm creating a script outside of joomla to automate a usergroup/projectstructure. It saves the enduser a lot of time/trouble when he doesn't have to create the group and the projectcategories and configure them.

I manage to create the group and to create a category and subcategory with the correct acl assigned to it.
When I open the categorymanager I can see my new categories with the correct levels.

But somehow I need to open the topcategory (topcategory of my new project) and save it once before my new categories are shown in the categorytrees when you create a new category or item.

Does anybody know which tables I have to use besides (jos_)categories, jos_flexaccess_acl and jos_flexiaccess_groups?
