How to show draft articles for front end editing/publishing?

My users can create articles in the front-end, and set them as published/unpublished/pending/draft/in progress

However, if they save an article as a draft status, they can only then edit it in the backend.

How can I show all draft articles belonging to a user that is logged into the frontend?

Is there another component that can do that, combined with flexicontent/access?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hi Micker

Exciting times for us Joomla folk!!

Do you think that I could create a slimmed down version of the backend, without Joomla Admin interface, perhaps using a Joomlapraise or alternative backend template, yet ONLY showing the add/edit/publish features of Flexicontent?

Hi Micker,

Thanks for all the swift replies :)

So, let me understand this a little bit better -

1)
I install the quick links (I assume that the quick links appear only in the back end, but not the front end when that user is logged in?)

2)
I change some settings in flexiaccess for the users to prevent access to all other components than the ones set up in the quicklinks

3) I somehow disable the standard top down drop down admin menu for the backend so that they aren't presented with drop down menu items that they don't have access to? Not sure how to do that?
