Flexiaccess: Bridge with Active directory or groups import

Hello,

We implemented a corporate intranet with Joomla and FlexiContent. Now we think of using Flexiaccess for the ACL.

I would like to know if there is a way to bridge Flexiaccess with the Active Directory. Is it possible to do a mapping between A.D. groups and Flexiaccess groups so that we don't have to create them on both sides?

If not, is it possible to import Flexiaccess groups and there members from a xml, csv, etc. file?

In other words, my question is, do we have to create and populate all the Flexiaccess groups manually, or is there a mechanism, to synchronize or import them?

Thanks a lot!

You will have to do custom developing here, you need a developer.

.
For Joomla 1.6/1.7 there is already a discussion and some extensions under development.
See this thread in the Joomla forum:
Joomla 1.6 Active Directory Group Mapping
forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=624&t=600027

So when FLEXIcontent for Joomla 1.7 is available it should be possible to use that to synchronize the Joomla users with the AD users.

I know this does not help now for Joomla 1.5 with FLEXIaccess.
That would, as stated above by ggppdk, require some custom work by a developer.
