Display based on publication dates [réglé]

I manage a calendar with Flexicontent in which all events have a start date and an end date for publication.
All my events are therefore perfectly classified by increasing date from "now"
I am asked to add a menu to display all previous events.
I tried to use a blocked filter like: field_id##---now+0d
This has no effect and always shows upcoming events.

Is my filter written incorrectly?
Or is it simply due to my events being unpublished by default?
How to get around this problem?

Thank you for your ideas

field_id##---now+0d works only with a flexicontent field
maybe you can test to add filter ioption in your publish field

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Thank you Micker for this idea
I transformed my publication end date into 1 flexicontent field of the same name.
With the filter field_id##---now+0d I obtain all events prior to today's date
But how do I write my filter for all upcoming events since I no longer use the default publication date?
I tested field_id##now-0d---now+630d, but it doesn't work...
Thanks for your help

you can do this
86##now-0d---now+10Y
=> replace 86 by your field id
=> becarfull select a filter mode with range option

Thanks Micker,
For this to work perfectly,
1) I added a filterable field "end of publication" and displayed field_id##---now+0d
2) I transformed my start date field into a filter and I applied field_id##now-0d---now+10Y to display

So I can isolate all future events from past events

Thanks again for your help
