well I downloaded the latest version :FLEXIContent - 2.0 - RC8 r1486
I installed and take back the following files :
components\com_flexicontent\models\category.php
administrator\components\com_flexicontent\models\forms\category.xml
\components\com_flexicontent\templates\web_template\item.php

and
- SEO issue is still there
- still no way to display my module on this category

did I miss something ?

The rerouting is handled by FLEXIcontent system plugin and it seems the plugin has not been updated to the new code, please check file permission for plugin folder AND SUB-FOLDERS and files.

In general please check file permission of all folders, you will be having problems with installing or updating other extensions too

ok I guess that this is because I installed in local and then upload component from local to distant. I didn't update plugins folders :/

Also note that installation process may change DB (in your case it is ok) so you should not just upload files

ok SEO is working fine now ! this is great !

but...

I still have an issue to display my modules. I use Advanced Module Manager. If item is not linked to any menu Item, I cannot display my module, even if I choose to display it on category item ... :/ normal ?

This correct behavior since you have set it to display when com_content articles and categories are displayed,

The latest paid version of advanced module manager supports flexicontent too with graphical parameters

or another method to support FLEXIcontent is via PHP evaluation:
