recherche ne trouve plus apres ID 1629

hello !

j'ai un pb avec la fonction recherche. Il semble que les items au dela de l'ID 1629 ne soient plus trouvés.

J'ai vérifié les champs, les noms etc, aucun element ne permet de dire pourquoi les items ne sont plus trouvés...

est ce que flexicontent aurait une limitation dans sa formule de recherche ?

Note : le backend me trouve parfaitement les items voulus, mais le front refuse

If you use advanced search and you have J1.5 and use have installed some recent revision up to r1338 then yes, a column "search_index" is not updated properly when you edit an item and as a result the title and description cannot be searched.

I have fixed the problem, and will do some changes in regards to rebuilding of the search index too and post a new version.

For now you can use standard Joomla search with standard FLEXIcontent search plugin enabled

ok so this is normal that search tool does not work after item 1629.

I'll wait for your updates as I have to pass from joomla 1.5 to 2.5.

I mean that that newly created items or existing ones will not have their search_index column updated

Is the problem with advanced search view, which revision you have?

ah ok so you mean that latest version was bugged (FLEXIcontent version 1.5.6 RC5 (r1272)), and so, old items previously created are searchable but the ones since update are not...

but can I continue updating and adding item to flexicontent ? next update will it fix automatically all the item without search index ?

Next version will allow you to rebuild standard search index too (via a task button), plus the advanced search will no longer use standard search index

This mean you will not need to re-edit and re-save the items.

Plus some enhancements for making advanced search view more powerful
