I use Joomla 2.5.8 and I can't find an option in the joomla menu item in order to limit breadcrumb.

Where is it ?

In menu item
Under "Basic Parameters" slider

the parameter is called in (english):
"Start to add parents categories at depth"

(the above is for category-type menu items (category,author,my items) and for single-item menu items)

There is no Basic Parameters ...
Also for single-item and category-type menu items.

OK i see now,

this is not FLEXIcontent menu item, it is a joomla com_content menu item

you can use it, just know that this is Joomla code not FLEXIcontent code
