a+

Hello,

I have implemented the following (and among them a language scope) for mod_flexicontent
1. Current Item Scope
2. Current Language Scope
3. Empty Field filtering mechanism:
This will filter out items that have empty Fields (any or all listed fields) and also options to strip HTML tags in order to consider an field empty.
4. Vertical Tab sliders for the configuration
parameters.

[UPDATE:] The Empty Field filtering mechanism now works properly, but can have a medium performance impact if you want to skip a lot of articles (e.g. if 90% of articles are skipped)
[UPDATE:] Fixed some issue with some language configurations
[UPDATE:] Added option for all item's categories in category scope, and wrote clear descriptions for ordering group (e.g. if you display 2 groups "most popular" and "Recently Added" at once), also added option for ordering group title.

I have tested this, although not extensively.

WARNING: If you translate the items using joomfish then do not enable the language scope, you don't needed. Because joomfish only translates title and description, this is meant for people that have items with different languages in the Flexicontent items manager.

Please read this for an explanation:
www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... pic#p16864

I will include this in the trunk of Flexicontent v1.5.5....

Regards

Excellent job, thanks a lot gg !! :D :D

Language scope works better than I expected (current language is displayed, no need to select and filter manually), and tabs make configuration much easier.

This patch corrects the last flaws of the Flexi module, so THANKS.

For people having trouble displaying the content of their module after installation, just turn off item scope.

Can you give examples of use for the exclude item scope ? The way I use the Flexi module it makes no sense.

I really hope the Flexi project will soon setup a team of talented contributors like you so that things can move fast.
