Hello

instead of
width: 85%;

use
width: 85% !important;

Thank you for your help, looks as if i am doing something wrong. Have now following lines on top of "template.css" of protostar template:
Code:
body #mod-search-searchword { minimum-width: 0px !important; width: 85% !important; } body #search_searchword { minimum-width: 0px !important; width: 85% !important; }
But no luck, no change

I wonder how they come to deliver a template with joomla, that is not listening to the native joomla preferences… :?:

Code:
body #mod-search-searchword { minimum-width: 0px !important; width: 85% !important; } body #search_searchword { minimum-width: 0px !important; width: 85% !important; }

in your first code you use 2 space between body and class maybe that is the problem ?

Hello Micker,

thank you for suggestion (did not see the difference), but after changing it in my css, it did not change appearance. However this two spaces have been in first part, working fine for default joomla search.
