Hello,
the category has zero active items at the moment and 2 items in the trush
2 items are in the trush but the "mod_flexicategories" still shows the category and the number of trushed items (2).
I have deleted the 2 already trushed items and "mod_flexicategories" does not show the category any more.
So besically even if all items in the category are trushed or expired and there are NO ACTIVE items - the category will still be shown in "mod_flexicategories"
But the "mod_flexicategories" must really show only categories that have Active articles in them
There is no sense the user to click on a category just to see that there is nothing he can see in it.

Hello

- please note that the calculated number of items is updated every 1 hour (unless you changed in our Advanced parameters TAB)

so if you trash items , the number of category items will not be re-calculated, you should clear site's frontend cache ...

There is no sense the user to click on a category just to see that there is nothing he can see in it.

But now we are not discusing the above, we discussed it already
now we are discussing if the new parameter works

Hello,
I have tested again and i can confirm that it does not work.
What i did was:
1. I made an item expired (1 item in 1 category)
2. I cleared the site front end cache
3. I cleared the expired cache
4. I cleared the web hosting server cache
5. I cleared the browser cache
6. I waited for 4 hours
7. I went to mod_flexicategories - the category was showing, the number of active items was displayed (1) and when i clicked on the category - no items was shown.

Please can you check what am I doing wrong
