Hello

Yes, but we have to use 3rd party components like sh404sef only to remove item IDs from URLs.
And we get much more issues using it.

I agree with the above statement
note that adding support for it is relatively little work, as said i am worried of it being buggy
- will add support for removing IDs only to 3.4.x (From now on only 3.N will get major new features)
next release is 3.3.0

About SH404SEF plugin i have patched it
(install in testing-website via "Install from URL"
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/archive/3.3.x.zip )
2 improvements

- Create SEF URLs using the menu-alias path if menu is an exact match
- Multi-category URLs will not append cat-ALIASES instead cat-IDs

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.

Hello!
Now URLs for 'Categories' looks fine (displays alias for item menu).
But you broke URLs for 'Category' )))
Now they looks as
domain/alias?cid=17&view=category
instead
domain/alias
I'm talking about URLs generated with sh404sef.

[WIP] More J4 compatibility, replacing deprecated methods, and classes, also some HTML validity changes

usually trying to avoid irrelevant changes in commits but not always done

Yes, it seem categories URLs are fixed.

But I have last issue.

I added language in /components/com_flexicontent/sef_ext/lang/com_flexicontent.php
