Yes all options should work

Well for now the only bug I found:

when someone submits a new item the item/link to the desire article is:

there is a Capital "I", dont know if it interfears.

and the link is ALLWAYS with the item id 218. is not dynamic. Gives us error 400 page not found.

If the site is set for using Search Engine Friendly URLs and at Flexi Configuration/Email Notifications/Content submit/change notifications the option View Link is activated the link sent with the notification email its not SEF and will produce an 404 error:
